Life is pretty great.
School is fine. It's nice to play in an ensemble again! I hope I dont slack off in lessons... I need to get in a practice room tonight. French is fun, and I love my Physics professor. I skipped my Physics Lab yesterday because I concluded that the INAUGURATION OF BARACK OBAMA was more important!! =)
It's Birthday Season so I've been pretty busy with friends. Going out to celebrate and whatnot. But I'm happy to say that even with all the festivities, I'm still not drinking! 3+ months of sobriety is keeping me sane right now.
My birthday is coming up! January 30th, I'll be 22! I'm pretty excited... My birthday is my 2nd favourite holiday! We're gonna have a big party at my apartment to celebrate for me, Kiley, Joe Young, and Meghan Love, which should be a grand ol' time. I love cramming 40 people in my tiny apartment!
As far as boys go... I'm still not looking for anything serious. But there is one boy in particular who I'm building a friendship with. His name is Derek, he's 28, he's a Chemical Engineering major at Wayne State. He's very smart, he's got curly hair, a beard, and a super quirky sense of humour that just kills me. I dig him, so I'm just gonna see what happens with that!
My family is doing well. John is always stressed about work. Mom is always stressed about everything. Stevie is happy and travelling and apparently has joined a new band! Ryan is enjoying his new job ((WITH MEDICAL BENEFITS!! I'm so happy for him!)), but him and Gina have basically opposite schedules, so they cant usually come to family stuff =( Maybe after he has his first three months in, they'll give him a more reliable schedule.
Besides that... Just livin', man. L-I-V-I-N.
