Kattaiya: that Australia is about 3mil sq miles, and Texas is 270 thousand-ish, but that Texas has a slightly larger population.

Kattaiya: so obviously you couldn't fit Australia inside Texas-- Australia is almost the size of the whole USA, actually-- but you COULD clear out all the Texans and fit the entire population of Australia in.

Note that I chose Texas because I've heard that some people think Australia is about the same size, so I wanted to see how wrong that was. I was not expecting the population thing. XD

I have my second/second-last exam tomorrow. Today, really. Japanese Grammar. The last one is on Saturday. I broke my self-imposed writing ban yesterday because I was really bored and got struck with sudden inspiration for Ji's birthday fic, and was reminded WHY I'd imposed the ban on myself in the first place-- didn't do any work after I started writing it, and didn't go to bed until I FINISHED writing it at 4 am. << Yeeeeeeeeeees.

Speaking of birthday fics, aside from shineko and mdkitten's (both of which I'm planning at the moment)... link621, your birthday is also in less than two weeks! Do you want fic, and if so, of what variety?

So much I want to write. Am in a very writing mood. Totally doing a celebratory end-of-exams fic meme on the weekend. Yes, Ji and Becky, you may request NANA.

Anyway, I wasted almost all of today cleaning my fic folders. I kid you not. They were already in folders by fandom-- I did that over a year ago when the stupid thing was exploding and impossible to find anything in-- but I did a lot of file renaming and grabbing off insaneidiot fics I wrote on other people's computers (i.e. my sister's or my parents' laptop, over Christmas) or straight into LJ and for some folders... SUBDIVIDING.

For the purpose of laughing at my sheer anal, the fruits of my labour. Numbers in brackets are the number of documents in that directory.

And in conclusion to this, I have a disproportionate amount of X/TB (news to, hm, NOBODY), and perhaps contrary to expectation I have more serious fics than crack fics. Huh. Also, they're separated based on their primary characteristic-- like, an AU is automatically in the AU folder whether it's serious or cracky or has porn in it or what. Whereas the porn folder is vaguely leftover.

Yeah, anyway.

My hands are so COLD. Last night when I went to bed I pulled on another layer over my pyjamas, put on socks and put on another doona... and was still cold. D:
