Attention NYC area folks... my company is looking for interns (college or recent grads). I posted an ad on mandy, entertainment careers, NYU, and the Made in NYC film guide. So far, all of the applicants are either over qualified, actors, or not quite right for one reason or the other If you know anyone who might be interested (or have more ideas about where to post!) please get in touch with me! Even though the ad says we need 3 full days per week, for the right person we can be flexible. And yes, the internship is basically a gopher. But as far as getting to know what a TV production company does, this internship would be great - we're such a small office that the intern couldn't help but learn a LOT, and my coworkers are all really great, smart, interesting people. It's a nice, fun work environment.
