Too long

Well, it has been way too long since I actually updated so I'll take this opportunity to do just that.

I'll start with the most current information and move from there I suppose. I've realized that I've apparently just trampled into that time of life that I've heard so many people talk about the last few years where I suddenly have a bunch of ( Read more... )

the vacation sounds like a lot of fun-you have to at least do a mile on the Appalatian trail just to say you did it.

The wedding thing is Weird. One of my friends, Matt's sister, & 2 aquantances got married this year. One of my friends just had her 3 year wedding anniversary & another person just had a baby [and of course Gretchen is engaged]. Mike & I joke b/c I'm the one freaked out by this!

Yeah, I've always heard that when you hit your mid-20's everyone around you starts getting married and having babies so it's expected but still quite crazy.

As for the vacation tip ... I've already done it, twice but thanks. Let me know if you have anymore ideas, I would love to hear them.

And I meant to add that although we may be traveling to D.C. I will not be traveling with weaponry to say, commit a mercy killing on behalf of the American people. LOL

Gettysburg is nice, Boston absolutely rules. Haven't been there in a while but you should enjoy the trip. Overall the northeast is really nice scenery.

Actually, can I also make a destination suggestion if you're going this way? Cooperstown, New York. Baseball Hall of Fame. I know you and Jimbo like baseball, if your Dad does too that's a great place for memories. Best part about it, it's a little village, even smaller than my town.

Yeah, I've been to Gettysburg about 6 or 7 times already. It's our regular stop when dad and I go out east for vacation. And Boston I've been to once with my mom years ago. In all the trips we've made that way, I've been to ever state except Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

I've been to New York but never Cooperstown. I think the B-ball H.oF. would be fun. I know that both Jim and dad want to spend like 2 days in DC and one in Gettys/Hershey so between the driving time and that I'm not sure if we'd have time, but I'm going to do some researching on it this morning. Thanks Trav!

There's a LOT to do in DC, but keep it down to things you WANT to do.
The only thing I didn't get to do when I went was visit the Museum of Opression. :( So, if you get to see it, let me know your thoughts.
Also, the place where they print our money - although great to be that close to it, isn't really all that exciting - not even for me. I almost fell asleep on the tour -- while we were WALKING!
