Oh man, possesive Angel is my weakness. I love him like that. It's the daddy-thing in me. In my mind possessiveness and jealousness is romantic and sexy. Thank you for writing Angel possessive of Spike. There hasn't been much of that lately, and it's so purely Spangel. It really is what I crave about Spangel.

Still going through my songs. This is going to be a slightly on-going project, babe. I've got to do some work on the darker_spike memories this week too. I don't mean to take so long, but I want to be thorough. And then I'm even thinking I might need to go back and reread parts of this story. So hang on, ok? I want it to be good songs.

You're not the only one who enjoys a possessive Angel. It's why I loved Angelus and ATS S2 Dark Angel. I think that I addressed some relationships in this chapter quite nicely. Spangel's snarky side, the Bangel relationship, when he tells her that she isn't the only one who gets to move on, Riley's future interaction with Spike and Angel's threat before he leaves Buffy's dorm, Angel telling Buffy to use Spike (as muscle) if she needs him, (which paves the way to BTVS S6 and how Angel will address her misuse of Spike then, and it also paved the way for BTVS S5 episodes like Fool For Love when Spike tells her his story (the RIGHT way), and Riley's paying vamps to suck him in INTO THE WOODS (because he can't quite figure out why Angel and Spike get a reprieve from Buffy's stake

I also love hearing about all those books and how long this fic is going to be! I'm very much looking forward to it.

I'm glad. Others think I'm insane for taking on a task like this. But, if you knew me in real life...with projects like this, I never do anything part way... I usually take the long route. :)

With the final link in place, Angel will always be possessive of Spike. As for the songs (which I'm waiting for patient, yet anxiously), I have a couple in mind

1) DEPECHE MODE's IT'S NO GOOD (because of the lines "gonna take my time/i have all the time in the world to make you mine" and "don't say you love me/don't say you want me/don't say you need me/it's understood/don't say you're happy/out there without me/cause it's no good) I think it somes up the rest for initiating the claims and how they've developed so far.

2) SANTANA'S THE FACTS OF LOVE [suggested by woman_of_], she had an overall feeling of the story with it.

3) NINE INCH NAILS' CLOSER (because of a couple of the scenes, 1 being at the end of chapter 14 and the flashback in chapter 11)

That's all I've come up with so far. So, let's see yours, and your notes. Even if a few are these same songs, I want to see your notes/thoughts on where you think they fit) And since you're holding out till the very end, I'm expecting a long list. :)

I don't mean to hold out to the very end. But I've got some other things things that I've got to see to this week as well. Darker_Spike and Forbidden Awards stuff that I am responsible for as a judge and moderator. And then family and home is always around. When James is around I try not to be ignoring of him by me burying my head in a computer when he's sitting right next to me. Dominant Daddy's are not very patient with that. And then I REALLY AM going through all my musis and listening to the lyrics and then trying to put it with a part of the story.

I'll have you some songs, but I'll tell you I am very worried that my songs won't be liked. They're older. But I'll give it a shot, for sure.

Older? What's wrong with older? I came this close to using Elvis' Baby, Let's Play House for when Angel helped Spike move into the mansion. I may still use it. lol

I have a feeling you nominated Ties That Bind to the Forbidden Awards... so I have no issue with that. :)

I'd take credit for it if I could, but it wasn't me, sweetie. As a judge I think it's best for me to not nominate. There's no rule against it, but I like to make sure there are no lines crossed and no blurred or gray areas that people could call bias on.

But I was estatic when I saw it in there. ;-)

Then I have a secret admirer for that fic who isn't commenting. The only people who know that fic exists and what I'm doing with it are you, spangels_girl and woman_of_. If anyone else reads it, they don't leave feedback.

Not that I don't enjoy the nomination and possible winning. I'm just curious as to who nominated it. :)

I suspect people are reading it, but not commenting. Comments have been low all over the place lately. And not everyone comments. There's probably more who don't comment than there is that do.

Or maybe people are saving it up to read all at once when it's completed. I do that with several fics. I just can't keep every WIP that's out there straight. I get my stories confused when I read too many wips.
