Farseer, Liveship Traders, Tawny Man

Over the past couple weeks I've been rereading the Farseer Trilogy By Robin Hobb because it is a prequal to the Tawny Man Trilogy.  I'm sort of skimming the Liveship Traders Trilogy too.  This is such a massive world-builiding undertaking, these books.  Before hand I felt that Farseer and Liveship Traders were vaguely connected but mostly stood on their own.  Now that I am 2/3 done with the the Tawny Man I see that Farseer and Liveship Traders are essential bulding blocks for an overall plot line.  In the past, I've read books by other writers whose works would subtly reference each other, but with no real connection....this would make me long for a story that would join all the threads together.  I'm pleased that Robin Hobb is doing just that.

Kind of makes me wonder if the Soldier Son Triliogy fits in this somehow....
