been on the (frequently bumpy) road and tucked away in the blue mountains of southern india for just enough time to soak up the peace and really, really enjoy the wifi we get here at the hotel in the big city. i guess that means the holiday has been just long enough.

now we're reading news to find out whether volcanoes will allow us to get home in time to pick up the dog or not. oops.
