Apparently Alex is so cute that he inspires cute in the creatures around him

As in, he startled a snake into falling off it's rock, where it then flailed around being confused until it realised that Alex wasn't going to step on it, and slunk away in an 'I totally meant to do that' sort of way. ^_^

Yesterday there was larp! It was good larp. The roleplay session seemed to be just the right length, and there's still stuff to discuss next week. The missions were fun, though it seemed a bit short - given that it was the first session, though, and the parties were larger than expected (leading to us having an easier time of it), that's a bit expected. Also, having healing etc being based on casting time rather than spellpoints meant that I didn't end the mission going 'omg I only have 6 casts left so lucky we're out of the woods!', which probably also led to it 'feeling' short.

Also, seeing the big grins on the refs' faces when I was quoting the Bible to bestow healing made me grin as well - apparently it didn't occur to Luke that saying 'there are people who have faith in God in York Below' + a magic system that resembled miracling would inspire a handful of atheists, agnostics and pagans to study the Bible so that they could role-play that effectively - stealth theology education?

I'm having fun copying out chapters of the Bible to read out IC, at least! ^_^
