The Knot tells me I have 234 days left...
So, our wedding is set for September 19th of this year. I'm so excited and can't even begin to explain how happy I am that everything has been pretty damn-near stress free so far! It's a miracle.
Our colors are Dark Purple and Black with silver and white accents.
Our venue: The Antheia Ballroom in Snohomish. They've been really awesome to work with so far and its a gorgeous place for sure.
Although we will be having our ceremony set up with tables as a banquet to save time. :) No pictures I've seen have done it justice, its so awesome.
Speaking of pictures, we've booked our photographer, the lovely Jenny GG (thanks NinaF!). She shot our engagement photos and was so much fun to work with, I can't wait for the wedding!
I also have a photo of my dress! Its the only one that I have...the rest are on my friend's camera. It was the 3rd dress I tried on and I loved it! The store I went to is in downtown Edmonds called Cynderellie's Closet. The woman I worked with was so great, even though both my mother and my MOH were being twits... It is Maggie Sottero's Kelsey (possibly discontinued as I can't find it on their website anymore..)
I also bought super-cute purples shoes to wear with them, but alas, no pictures.
Saturday I will be going to David's Bridal to look at bridesmaid dresses. They will be in either Lapis or Plum.
For bouquets, my girls will be carrying white callas and my bouquet will be black (deep purple) callas, similar to this:
Bouts for the guys will be in the same colors. We also picked out their tuxes from the Mens Wearhouse.
We booked our caterer, the Cabbage Patch Restaurant. We picked out our menu:
- - - - -
Caesar's Salad with Fresh, Sliced Strawberries
Spinach Salad with Craisins, Candied Pecans & our Raspberry Vinaigrette
Penne Pasta in Alfredo Sauce
Roasted Seasonal Vegetables with Green Beans, Broccoli and Carrot
Beef Kabob with Brady Pepper Sauce
Lemon Caper Chicken
Focaccia & 9 Grain & Butter
Strawberry Lemonade, Coffee & Tea

The strawberry lemonade is what really got me...I don't drink pop because of the carbonation (my throat likes to close...its weird, I know) so I was so happy to see that on there! All the food was incredible, I think it will really surprise people. It looks all normal "wedding food", but it tastes amazing!
I'm in the process of booking our cake person, we have a tasting set up for Feb. 8th. It'll from Frosted Cupcakes and Cakes, in Edmonds. :)
We booked our DJ, David Anderson. He seems pretty cool so far...not too concerned about the music except for the in-between ceremony and reception time. We're going to find all the songs off the Three Dog playlist for Fallout 3 and play them during the "coffee hour"

We ordered our Save the Dates from VistaPrint and I'm fairly pleased with them (for the price). No pics of those yet.
I think that's it so far...I'll keep you posted on the BM dresses, though! :)
