Summer start up
We are back home! :D
Last week Justin called me at work and asked if I was up for a surprise visit to TN for his Moms birthday. Of course I said yes and a few hectic days later we pulled up and shocked his Mom while she was calmly doing dishes. It was a nice relaxing time while we were down there. We went out to eat at a really good Mexican place, Las Palmas, met up with some of Justins high school friends, and I got to meet more (!) of his side of the family.
His parents had also planted a small lilac bush in Cyrus's memory, so I wanted to visit that and pay my respects to my darling little boy. I was really happy that they had done that for him. It was something that I really wanted to do, but being in an apartment complex did not have the means.
It is really very beautiful down there, and I know that for some time Justin and I have been talking about relocating back. It is just the logistics of it all...that and we both are doing really well right now and do not have a strong desire to cut that short. It is really very complicated and there are a lot of things to consider. I once tried writing it all down and I think that I made it worse. =/
Anyways we are off to go to the first BBQ for the summer season. I do not think that we will stay long, we are both tired from the trip, but I can not say no to my Moms cooking. <3
