So I have a somewhat new roommate. My friend Jackie hates her roommate, so she's been staying with me and Melissa. I love her dearly, but I'm definately ready for her to leave after one week. Her stuff is everywhere...and not only everywhere, but it's mixed with my stuff. She has managed to make my half of the room feel dirty and disgusting. She uses my stuff without asking, and spilled tomato soup all over my stuff without cleaning it up. She has made herself more than at home. And that's cool and all...but...

So last night I hated my roommate(s). I had an 830 class this morning, so around 1130 I was ready for bed. I tried to fall asleep, but my roommate(s) had the door wide open, people were coming in and out of the room (include the three other people who were just chillin in here), the tv was permanently on loud, and the lights seemed brighter than ever. Finally, I dozed off. Around 1 in the morning, I re-awoke because of their obnoxiously loud behavior. I finally asked politely if they could turn off the lights. Eventually, they went to sleep, I guess. This morning when I was getting ready for class, I can honestly say I didn't feel very bad about all the noise I was making.

I was hanging out with Myles and Andrew the other night. They were walking me back to my dorm around 3 in the morning down the alley that runs beside clifton and munroe. As we passed the court yard that connects munroe and belden, this guy gets our attention by tapping on the gate and saying, "hey" very nonchelently...I don't know how to spell that...
Anywho, this guy was on the other side of the gate, trapped in the court yard, and in only his boxers. Yes, only his boxers. Keep in mind it was three in the morning, and I was fully clothed and freezing. I'm pretty sure he was high, or drunk, or tripping on acid. He kept asking us to help him get out. Now, normally our IDs can open most doors we need to access, but this was a door that required a key. We tried to tell this guy, who had been out there for forty minutes mind you, to run to the other side of the courtyard where there was a slider thingy for us to open the gate. Then two drunk kids walked by who were convinced that they could open the gate. They finally realized what we knew all along and were screaming things like "I need a slider!" The guy behind the gate then preceeds to say, "You want a slider? I'll buy you twenty one sliders from white castle if you open the gate!" Oh man. We asked the guy where his clothes were and how he got outside without clothes on, but he didn't seem to know the answers. So he finally started to listen to us and decided to run to the other side...through the sprinklers that were on. We let him out and went on our merry way to drop me off at my building. It was quite an end to the perfect evening.

Speaking of Myles and Andrew, they're my best guy friends here at school. Quite possibly funnier than anyone I know. They're hilarious together. And really sweet guys. What started off as dinner with Myles on Saturday night, turned into an adventure to the beach at 2 in the morning. It was me Myles, Keenan (the other funniest guy I know and love to hang out with) and two other guys named will and luke. We went to the beach, and the boys smoked cigars (I had a cigarette) and we just talked for a while. It was nice. REally nice. Then we walked all the way back to the dorms. Everyone was going to bed, but Myles convinced me to come over for a while to watch STELLA a show that was cancelled on comedy central with Michael Ian Black...my lover. We watched that until Andrew came home and then the three of us hung out and laughed. I contemplated going back to my dorm, but the boys convinced me to spend the night. So Andrew and I went into his room to get his mattress without waking up his roommate, and put it on the floor in Myles' room. Then we took Myles' mattress and put it on the floor next to Andrew's and we had a big slumber party. It was honestly a lot of fun. Except for the part about not going to bed until 6am. The next morning we went to clark's for breakfast, and then spent the rest of the day studying.

So I like Andrew. He's adorable. And a real genuine guy. An acting major, but not as full of himself as I might have expected. Anyway. I'm not sure if there's potential for more than friends. But there's a girl on Andrew's floor that likes him, and the other night he told her that he didn't want a relationship with her. So I figured for a while, I'm just going to keep playing the friend card. I mean, if worse comes to worst, I still have some freaking amazing guy friends. And hey, I'd rather be friends with a guy before anything happens anyway, right? sure, just keep telling yourself that...

I suppose that's enough for now.

YAY for Michelle and getting action! w00t!

love.
