How's this for an update?
An update into the life of Tami? I've gotten in touch with a really old friend. We were best friends back in college and haven't gotten to talk since around 2003. I called his mom and got his cell number. Called him twice and he called me back on Sunday. It was really nice to hear his voice. I was really glad that the conversation wasn't awkward and topics flowed smoothly.
I got a new camera. A really gorgeous lightweight Kodak 6.1 megapixel camera. I'm really proud of that seeing as how I've wanted one for basically since they came out. So I guess you could say that I'm pretty much going picture taking crazy.
Alicia had her baby on Friday. Last week that is. A beautiful baby girl. Freya Serependity. She weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces and was 21 inches long. Looks just like her mama and has a head full of black hair just like her daddy. She's one of the 3 most beautiful babies in the world. I know I'll say that until I have my own babies.
Things between Kevin and myself are alright I guess. The one thing that bothers me most is the fact that we don't go out places together alot of the time. He's more content to sit at home in front of the television or in there playing a game. It kinda makes me feel like he really doesn't want to invest that much time into our relationship. Yeah, I've told him how I feel, but he reminds me that he's done the whole going out and partying thing. He doesn't get mad at me when I go out the bar with my friends and he doesn't fight with me over that so in that regard I guess I'm lucky. He trusts me which is what it's all about. There are other issues but the few people I truly trust know about them. That's not for me to air on here.
Work is going alright. It's just gotten really boring. I like having a challenge and quite frankly this job just doesn't give me that. Yes, I can admit that at Wal-Mart there were some things I just didn't know and I liked having to figure them out, but the drawback to that job was the fact that I was only working part time and they wouldn't give me full time. Add in to the fact that they were paying cashiers more money than I was making, well that just clinched the deal there. As soon as I found out about that, I became more serious about looking for another job. For those of you who knew what I was doing at Wal-Mart, you know that I deserved to be paid more than them.
So there's just a brief glimpse into my life as of late. I really should update this more, but I'm lazy and when I do get online I typically stick to myspace and facebook. I know, highly addictive sites but you can't help it sometimes. Thanks for reading!
