Okay, I tend to see Fan works as just that. Works created by fans for other fans. I don't own these characters, and I'm not about to throw a hissy if my writing gets lampooned or re-used. In fact unless it's incredibly harsh I'll probably be completely chuffed(ecstatic+proud).
