Comment to this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.
sinistrasnape  gave me these five:

Tupac
I've been a fan of Tupac for quite a while now. He was such a talented artist, definitely went too soon. To be honest, a lot of his music is too 'gangsta' for me, but there is a lot of his stuff I absolutely *love*. He had a lot to say in his songs and a lot of his lyrics are real powerful, not to mention he had a fantastic delivery. He was artistic all-around, acting and writing poetry as well, which just adds to his awesome legacy. One of this earth's most respected MCs. RIP

Hip Hop
My favourite genre of music. I only -really- got into hip hop a couple of years ago, and my tastes have progressed much since then (a lot of regular hip-hop is almost too 'normal' for me nowadays XD) but even though I listen to much more of the experimental kind lately I will still always love hip-hop. I can sit forever and just be mesmerized by the MC's rhymes over amazing beats. It's such a varied music genre: unlike most metal genres where every song and artist sounds the same, hip hop can go any way you want it to. Complex orchestral samples, sci-fi electronic sounds or a simple old school beat, there's so much variety. An amazing art form.

WW2
I have a World War 2 fascination. I blame my dad, really, he's the one who got me into history in the first place. I've seen a LOT of WW2 movies and read quite a few books as well. I could honestly sit for days and just watch WW2 movies and documentaries. I'd say Band of Brothers is definitely one of my favourites =]

The Doors
I've only recently discovered the amazingness of The Doors. I'm suprised at how much I love their music, because usually I don't go for that type of music at all! But they're a fantastic band. Their songs have a really timeless quality and sound, and the often poetic lyrics are mesmerising. Jim Morrison's voice is incredible, and he is/was such a fascinating person.

Silent Hill
Oh, man. What can I say? Silent Hill ties with Deus Ex as my favourite game of all time, ever, in the universe. I can hardly put into words how amazing Silent Hill 2 is to me. When I first picked up the game, I was looking for a fun scare after playing FEAR at my cousin's house. I had recalled reading about SH in a PS2 magazine and picked up the game. It was not what I expected- the fear was so incredibly penetrating that at first, I could hardly stand to play the game and honestly lied awake at night afraid. But, eventually I got used to the fear: the thing that kept me interested was the incredible STORY. It was the first game, book, movie, anything, that I have ever actually cried in. (Yes, I had a heart of steel back then.) The story of James Sunderland and his journey is the most tragic love story I've ever seen, it's poetic and metaphoric and just amazing.

hip hop, the doors, silent hill, meme, world war two
