a little 'lighter' ... sorta
If you read my posts today, you would think that I'm a man-hating, ultra-liberal, lesbian ... well, I guess the ultraliberal label could probably stick.
Today, I took a test to find out my political leanings. No surprise, I'm farther out in the left/libertarian quadrant than Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and the Dalai Lama. I'm going to hazard a guess that I haven't been to jail only because I grew up in a prosperous, idealistically democratic (or so we thought) society. And, their placement of the current crop of presidential hopefuls really illustrates why I want a magic wand. One that either teleports me somewhere mystical, or one that goes big time pewpew ... I'm not sure which I need more ...
I do like the fact that I map out in (what I consider to be) the correct quadrant, at a nice 45-degree angle. (1) LOL.
Anyway, I'm not a man-hater. I equally hate males and females who are stupid, abusive, arrogant, or those in the extreme upper right and/or left quadrant. And while I recognize that men and women like the guy who took off after his pit bull chewed up (and killed) his son are probably very, very damaged, I still hate 'em.
Actually, I probably hate shrill, strident, politically nuts women more ...
So, men on my friends list, you can relax. Unless you fit that description, I truly want to hear what you have to say, support you in your life's efforts and dreams, read your books and posts ...
And I apologize in advance to my wife and children: someday, I'm really likely to end up on the "wrong" side of some discussion or debate or controversy, if the political pendulum doesn't swing back soon.
After some of my postage today, they probably already have files on this blog ...
