OK, I already reviewed the series but I was only halfway through this book.

I would still recommend this series highly -- there's some truly nice writing throughout the books, just enough 'a-ha' moments and personal growth with several of the characters to give them depth and to nicely balance the great action scenes where magic and armor collide ... but ... I have to take back my GLBT rating.

Not to completely spoil it for others: I will just say the books are fantastic until she starts into the final resolution of the trilogy. Major action is over and we get to find out what each character is going to do with the rest of their lives. I just didn't think that for two of the characters, there was any justification really for how they ended up, and honestly, I thought it was a cop-out.

'Nuff said. Go read 'em and tell me if you don't agree...
