One week of vacation and GLC
After being sick, I only worked one week, and then had again one week of vacation. That was quite much hard, but not much stressful fortunately.
On Friday, I worked the morning and went to my usual appointment. Afterwards, I went to find geocaches in Zürich. One near the Chinagarten, one on the Bürkliplatz (when I was searching it, a German man and his son told me they just grabbed it already!), the next one at the Paradeplatz, one a bit further and the last at the train station. Then, went to Heuberger and bought three hot sauces. I came back home and did some chores, but not a lot. I used my computer a lot and did a few other things. At 7:30, I started to watch the news on the TV, Anita came. We talked, watched the news and when it was finished, I ordered food. We watched more TV, the food came, we ate and watched TV until 10:30. Then she left, I tidied up and used my computer for a couple of hours, had a shower and went to bed rather late.
Saturday, I slept quite long, later than 11! I had a breakfast at the computer, and during the day I used my computer but also did a few washes and more chores. Time went fast. The evening, I went to Anita's place and we cooked a pumpkin soup and also garlic bread. It was good and we enjoyed. Later, I helped Anita with the computer and the rest of the time we sat on the couch and relaxed. She brought me back home, had chores to do and then and I used my computer much too long because I wasn't tired!
Sunday, I slept until 9, had a coffee, got ready and at 10, we left and went direction east of Switzerland with the car. We first went to a very nice TB hotel in Wil with sheep inside and a miniature restaurant. I left trackables there. Then, we went to Wängi and met Moni, Hans and another Monika. We ate and talk a bit and then started the "Hexenrunde". It was set as quite difficult, but we found them rather easily, but some were more difficult. We took two hours and found them all. We had a break at the Volg where we also parked and then decided to go to Aadorf. We first made a tradi and then made a round of adventure lab caches about the theme "mathematics". We did it so that we got the souvenir. And Hans is also mathematician, but the riddles were quite easy. On the way, we also made two more tradis. And Bruno and his son came to meet us, because they live in Aadorf. It was nice to see them again. We finished the round and talked some time where we parked and then we said bye and left. Anita brought me home and I did some chores, used my computer, at 7:30 I watched the news and ate a dinner. Then, I tidied up and used my computer for the rest of the evening. I also had a beer. I didn't go to late to bed.
Monday, I slept until around 9, had a breakfast at the computer and used it some time, but I also did chores like clean the bathroom furniture, vacuum clean and more. I also went to the Coop. Later in the afternoon, I cleaned the kitchen and did other stuff. The evening, I cooked fried rice with lots of peppers and spices and it was quite good. I watched the news while eating. Then, I cleaned the kitchen and then ironed my clothes for the next few hours. Then, I tidied up and used my computer for some more time. I had a shower and went to bed not too late.
Tuesday, I got up at 6:30, because I had an appointment at 7:30 in Zürich. When I came back home, it was 9AM, so I had a coffee and ate a bit. I used my computer and later, I ate the rest of the rice of yesterday. I started to pack and used my computer a bit in between. I also took care of my plants and did other chores. Time went fast. I was quite finished to pack. Later, I ordered a cordon bleu and when it came, I ate it while watching the news at the TV. I tidied up, used my computer a bit and then Toxo came. We had a few beers, talked a lot and had a nice time. He left at around 11PM and then had to tidy up, did more chores and used my computer a bit but went to bed not too late.
Wednesday, I woke up at 8. I had a coffee, finished to pack and did some chores. I also used my computer a bit. At around 9:20, I went downstairs and closed the cardboard board with the beers on it. I went to the bus station and Toxo came. We took a bus to Stettbach, a train to Zürich, another one to Luzern. There, I bought something to eat. We took another train to Brünig and then a bus to Hasliberg Reuti. There, we saw more furries. We arrived at the place of the GLC. We put our luggage in the lobby of the hotel and then went to register. I put my stuff into the hotel room and started to install. Then, I went outside and looked around, said hello, ate a bit and then the pool was open, so I went inside around 30 minutes. I went outside, put again my clothes and walked around again and said hello to more furries. Then, it was time to have dinner, I ate with Toxo and also saw Jashi and Shyboar. The food was good. Then, I spent time with Toxo but also walked around and talked to more furries and had a good time. Then, we went to the opening ceremony which was cool. Quite later, there was the lantern hike and I took photos, but it was quite hard to take good ones, because it was very dark. When we came back, we had punch drink and I put some rum inside. There were also very cinnamon rolls and I took quite a lot of them! The rest of the evening, I enjoyed my time with other ones and went to different places. I was getting tired, so I went to the room, had a shower and went to bed at around 2AM.
Thursday, I slept until 9AM but stayed a bit in the bed. I got ready and went to the breakfast. I sat down with Jashi, Toxo and a few other ones. Then, I went to the international snack exchange at the C'est la vie and I discovered some nice things to eat, some other ones were a bit strange. I also collected some of them into a bag so that I could try them later. I walked around, took photos of the fursuits and landscape and it was already time for lunch. The lunch was good. Afterwards, I talked to some furries and then went to the room to get ready. We went with Jashi, Shyboar and Leaphory to the cable car station and waited for the next one. We went down to Meiringen and the travel was free upon showing the badge. In Meiringen, we mostly went to find caches around the village. We found 6, most of them weren't that complicated, but some one or two were a bit more complicated. It took us around two hours. Leaphory and I bought some meringues and then we found the last cache and took the cable car back to the GLC place. There, I took it easy, walked around, talked, etc until the time of the dinner, which was good as usual. Afterwards, I went to the room and also walked around and at 7:30, I wanted to wait for the pawpet show, but we saw it was delayed one hours, so we walked around and had a beer. Then, a bit before 9PM, we waited outside the main stage and soon could get inside. We watched the pawpet show which was very well done, but a bit long and there were some technical issues. It only finished at 0:45. As soon as it was finished, we went to the cocktail bar in the C'est La Vie. I grabbed one and drank it upstairs in the dinning room with Toxo, Jashi and Shyboar. I grabbed another one jus before it closed and then it was getting late, so I slowly went to the hotel. I had a shower and went to bed a bit before 2AM.
Friday, I also slept until 9AM but stayed until 9:30 in the bed. I got ready and went to have breakfast. Then I went to the C'est La Vie to have a coffee and some snacks and also hoped that the pool was open, but it wasn't the case. I stayed there anyway and talked to some furries and relaxed. Time went fast and it was already time for lunch, so I went there. After the lunch, I went back to the hostel and since the pool wasn't open. I saw how Inu was using his RC car on difficult terrain I talked to more furries, until the pool was open. I went the first one inside and then came a furry from Ireland, so we talked together for a while and went outside afterwards. I stayed for a while at the hostel and then walked around. Then I started to look for glasses for the beer tasting and found some, which I brought to the lobby. Then, I brought the beer and a bit after 5PM, I started with the beer tasting. At the start, there weren't a lot of furries, but then more and more. I first started with the cans, then the "Champagne" bottles. It was nice to see the interest of the participants. Afterwards, I brought the glasses to the kitchen to wash them, went to the room and then went to the fondue. Toxo was already there. The fondue was good but a bit too "elastic". I still ate a lot and was quite full. Then, I went to the kitchen to dry the glasses and put them back, then disposed the cardboard, cans and bottles. I went to see the last part of the fursuit dance competition and then went to the C'est La Vie. There, I went to the fire pit but also went to the eating room and saw how three furries repaired the piano. Later, Jashi came and we talked quite long. It was then 1AM and got tired, so I went back to the hotel. I soon went to the room, got ready and went to sleep.
Saturday, I got up at 9AM again, but stayed quite long in the bed, also used my phone. I got up, got ready and at around 10 or a bit later, I went to have the brunch, which had nice things. I stayed there quite long and talked to Jashi, Shyboard and a few other furries. Time went fast. I walked around, went to my room to put my suit and a bit before 1PM, I was on the terrace of the hotel with many other fursuiters. I hugged a few and then we made the fursuit photo-shooting and then the picture with everybody. I stayed there for quite much time, hugged other suiters or non-suiters and also talked. There were also two woman of the direction of Fantasy Basel there and they liked my fursuit, I was flattered. Later, I left and went to my room to change and have a shower. Just after, I went away to geocaching. First I went downhill to one and when I started to search, I saw that there were 2 DNF before me. I still searched a bit but of course, didn't find the container. I went back and I saw a friendly tomcat, so I pet him a bit and walked back to the village. Then, I went rather uphill to the second cache which was under a bridge. It took me some time to find it, but then I saw it, it was a cool one. I came back to the hotel, stayed a bit in the room and then went again around. I went to the C'est La Vie and could taste a bit of nice and strong coffee, talked to other furries and enjoyed the time. Later, I went to my room to get a beer and then back into the pool for around 30 minutes. I enjoyed the warm water and the fresh beer. I put back my clothes and sat with Toxo and many other Swiss furs around a table and it was also nice. At around 6:15PM, I went to my room and then to the queue for the last dinner of the con. When I was ready to get served, I saw there was a nice buffet with mostly Greek specialties. I took quite a lot of it, also salad and also some yummy dessert. I took my hot powder and some of the furries were interested to put some (or a lot) on their food and it was funny to see some who didn't expect it to be so hot! ;) I stayed quite long in the eating room and then I went to the room and afterwards went with Toxo to the dance. At some point of time, Dan came as DJ (Goa, PsyTrance) and I danced a bit. I went to the room to take my D850 to also take "better" pictures. Then, I went to the Greek tavern to taste some wines. There was one white wine, one rosé and one red one. I liked the white wine, the rosé was strange but OK and he red wasn't really my taste. I went back to the dance to listen to the start of BBF's set. Then, I went to the C'est La Vie to look for Toxo but didn't find him. I went inside to eat and drink a bit and then saw Kelox and he called Toxo to know where he was. We met him at the upper fire pit. We stayed longer and I drank white wine, talked and listened to music. It was getting late, so I went inside for a while, then went back to the Greek Tavern and talked to BP and other ones, went a bit to the dance and then to the hotel room. I took a shower and went to bed a bit after 1AM.
Sunday, I got up at 9, but it was like 10AM because now it's winter time. I went to have breakfast, but there was almost nothing left. I talked to Jashi and ShyBoar and then Jashi gave me a bottle of white wine. I went back to the hotel and started to pack. I was quite advanced when I went to the hostel to take my bathing stuff and also stayed to talk to Toxo. I went back to the hotel to finish to talk and put my luggage into the lobby. I went back to the hostel and sat down with Toxo at the entrance and talked with some furries. At 12, we left. I took my luggage from the lobby and walked to the postal bus terminal stop and went inside. There was already one furry there. The other ones came much later and the bus was quite full. We took the bus to Brünig and I took some photos of the landscape but also talked. In Brünig, we waited for the next train and it came soon. In the train, I talked, used my laptop, phone and took some photos from the landscape with my D850. We arrived in Luzern, said bye to the furries and I bought something to eat and drink at the Bretzelkönig and went into the next train to Rothkreuz. In the train, I mostly ate my pretzels. We changed train and the next one was very full, so I decided to sit on the floor against the door and used my laptop and talked to Toxo. We arrived to Zürich, walked to the S-Bahn and waited for it. During this time I had a beer that Toxo gave to me. We took the train to Schwerzenbach, a bus to Fällanden and arrived at home a bit after 5PM. I talked to Toxo and said bye. In my apartment, I directly started to unpack, tidy up, etc. I also went to the cellar, took care of my plants, etc. At 6PM, I used my computer. I did different thing and then also Stable Diffusion, but suddenly, I was quite tired, so I think I slept at least 30 minutes. Then I saw it was almost 7PM, so I prepared a small dinner and then ate it while watching the news at the TV. Afterwards, I tidied up and did some chores and later, I used my computer. I watched my photos of the GLC and deleted the bad ones, wrote this text and also did some Stable Diffusion. I also replied to message and much more. Time went fast. I had a shower, used my computer again for a short time and then went to bed a bit after midnight.
