See all the love in me, I've got enough forever.
This entry has two main points:
1) I now have the internet. So updates may or may not come more frequently now. Yay!
2) I have a new layout. I don't know if it's good or not, but I got sick of the old one. It includes a picture of me and my best friend fast asleep, and... lots of red. Too much red. But I'm bored of fiddling. May come back to it later.
Um, that's about it. I could write an entry about how awful work was yesterday, but I'll keep it short instead.
I went to work without sleeping alongside my friend Mel. At the office we were harassed by some sexist guy, til I put him in his place. Then they sent us to this site at UBC. We were told we would be unloading a trailer of 30 lb boxes. We actually had to unload two trailers of 100+ lb boxes. Five and a half hours in, I fucked up my knee from putting way too much stress on it (100 lb boxes?!?) and we were sent home with jeers, laughter and general assholery from the site's (very sexist) workers. At the end of all this, I got $47 and "why didn't you call us?" from the agency. Nearly had a nervous breakdown on the bus home. Spent most of it imagining brutally murdering some fucking bitch who wanted me to stand up so she could sit down with her crying, stupid, ugly baby.
Today? I have $47 and limbs too sore to move.
