Sex as good as this doesn't last forever
Can you believe how long it has been since i have last updated? I can't... i gave up on the journal-sex and the city column thing- for a frequent thing.. because i don't update enough.. but occasionally i may throw in a SATC kind of entry for fun. hehe.
SOOOooooooooo... I feel like I am a walking GUYS AND DOLLS ad. Like, today, not only did I dance at rehearsal, dragged in my costume things, but i stayed until late to paint my signs that I designed! They are BEAUTiFUlll and everyone should check them out when they are on display on Ithan Ave! Umm.. then I had an interesting evening with my girl Rachhhh.
So.. we went to the School Board Meeting.. right? The preparation though for the meeting was quite the fun...and here is our speech....
"The Harriton Theater Company would like to present our spring musical, Guys and Dolls. In our show... (Anna)- "I'm Adelaide, the well known fiance," or, Anna Roisman, senior at Harriton High School. (Rach)- "And I'm Sarah Brown...but do not think of me as Sgt. Sarah Brown, but as Sarah Brown, your sister!" or, Rachel Kauffman, sophmore at Harriton High School.
The harriton theatre company is a student-run organization with the help of our teacher advisors. As a company, we devote a lot of time and commitment to our productions. No only would we love the support of our community, but we would also love to share our creativity and talent with the Lower Merion Township.
Guys and Dolls opens on March 19th at 7pm, and the following performances are Sat. March 20 at 2pm and 7pm, and Sunday March 21 at 4pm. Guys and Dolls is a fabulous show for the entire family, the music is great, and it is just a lot of fun! We hope to see you all there! Thank you for your time!"
-and that was it- How corney and funny is that!?
AND WE WILL BE ON TV!!! heheheh on the channel 6 LMSD channel. pretty cool, huh?
OK.. so we aren't done.. at the meeting was our one and only principal, J-LO and we stood with him... then in attempt to escape the rest of the meeting, we left and found ourselves roaming the halls and parking lots of lower merion high school with JLO! hahaha....random huh?! THEN, we were nowhere near where I parked, so he drove us over to my car.. haha.. i took shotgun and rach sat in back, and we drove along with JLO while listening to the "oh so cool" John Mayer... and I think i said, wow, mr. lopez, you are COOL! hahahah.
OK, so it was a funny night.. and we get to be on TV...though it will be such a laugh. And for more details- see Rach's LJ!
Anyway, sarah and I are still friends.. weird?!
Going to bake brownies and watch SEX AND THE CITY SERIES FINALE FOR AN ENCORE PERFORMANCE. I just loved it so much last night I want another dose!!!
