TARONGA ZOO!

Thought we would be the typical tourist for the day and head to the Taronga Zoo, Caught the ferry from Circular Quay right to the doorstep and only cost $29 with return ferry trip, park entry and scenic cable car ride that goes over the top of the zoo with GORGOEUS city views etc...

Talk about PACKED, I dunno if it was due to the recent unfortunate passing of Steve Irwin or not, But there were people EVERYWHERE...Sooo many tourists, I was mesmorised by the different languages floating past...It was just amazing...And becuase it was a week day there were a LOT of school groups about
pushing in and being RUDE, GRRR...To be a pimpled ugly Year 7 again...Ok Ok, So Im still pimpled....AND YES, Still ugly, But I am now 4 weeks away from being a REGISTERED NURSE...HELLO :o)

Anyways, Back to the Zoo, All the animals were cool and since it wasnt an overally HOT day they were out n about playin around which was nice, I think my fave would have to be...hm...koalas were randomly cute, not normally my kinda animal but...the gorillas and the lil baby one...AWWW....Um, the baby lambs at the shearing sheds, the tortoises and probably the grizzly bear, VERY COOL!

We went to see the Seal Show, That was really cool too, They sure do teach them some nifty tricks...Aaahh, To work at the Zoo and train the animals, What more could someone want?

Anyways, Here are a couple of snaps for a squiz:

AWESOME city views in the background...

Once we had done the works, EXHAUSTED (soooo much walking) we returned to the city and to the Lindt Choc Shop for a much needed (my blood sugar was 3) and MUCH DESERVED Dark Hot Chocolate (Skinny, of course)...YUMMO...

Highly reccommend the Zoo for a different day out in Sydney, Altho done it once and you've done it a million times...
