The Fading Stream
After the Fall of Light,
we will try again to
hold our darkness inside.

Things will come to me
when I would want them to.
Hold them in my breath
until I Fade.

Fade into the water
The stream in the mountains.
where all my tremblings
will come to Rest.

"Do you fear me?" I will
ask the water,
for they're fading,
running far from me.

No more a little girl,
No more pure love from everything.
I wish I had pure love from people
instead.

Wishes on my tongue, I listen
to the fading sound of water
in the Stream. "So let go",
I say, and I do.

Fear will not stop
who I really love
for touch of water, fading or else
will cure all.
