(no subject)
My mom went with a friend of hers to an arts and crafts shop today, and came back with a present for me. After seeing me paint my canvases standing up, sitting on the floor, holding on to them twistedly, she decided I need a pedestal so she bought me one. Only it's completely groovy - it folds down to a suitcase, and can be opened to hold a variety of sizes of canvases (I have tried some of my biggest and it fits beautifully), can be adjusted to the angle of the canvas and has a pull-out drawer for paints and such. Needless to say I was very happy with it.
Also - one more painting done, though I still haven't a name for it. I think I'll just call it painting number one or something like that. And it still needs a coat of varnish (I don't have my sister's camera here so y'all have to wait for a picture).
