Busy morning after busy days

The holiday was long enough for me to get annoyed by all the family gatherings and too short for me to have real rest. However, I did have fun during those days...

Thursday was fun - I had a lazy morning and then I went to have lunch with my grandparents (my grandma's nephew was there as well) and the evening brought the group meeting. I have to say, that comparing this meeting to others, we had a much quieter time, not including the traditional "Bohemian Rhapsody" (which I recorded on my cell) and a big batch of bracelets. Nuts, I know...

On Friday we were to go to my aunt's house for lunch. It was nice, but the drive there was terrible - my dad got angry and my grandma got agitated by his swearing and yells, she also repeated what she was saying all the time and interrupted my attempts to ignore whatever was going on in the car. When we arrived I went outside because my aunt's dog kept on barking for 15 minutes straight and it was just too much for me. The lunch itself was less distressful, but I was anxious to go home already, and endured another 35 minutes of pure exasperation in the car.

Went out with Helena and Danny Friday night. We saw "The Simpsons" again, and then they came over and we shared photos (mine from England and Ireland and they from Slovenia and Croatia). They only left at around 2 a.m., and I was dead tired.

Got up on Saturday at 10, having slept like a (good) baby and saw that "Life on Mars" has finally finished downloading. Watched 5 episodes during the day (in between we went to eat lunch at my grandparents, I got angry and spent an hour in the other room, listening to Tori Amos on my cell (bless that thing) and reading "National Geographic" books), and I have to say - it's a damn good show. I already have both seasons on my computer and I'll finish them this week (hopefully). It's also getting me to practice on my hearing when it comes to english shows, because I have no subtitles in Hebrew, of course.

This morning I had a meeting with my head of team in TAU and I planned it so it won't mean I'll be late for work. I also woke up at 5, because I forgot to set the clock an hour back.

Stupid.

Anyway, it's almost 11, and I've been up since 6 (if you don't count my mishap) and I still have a long day before me.

Great.

At least I have LoM to look forward to, and "Jericho" is on tonight.

t.v., annoying, friends, busy day, perach, work, family
