A lot of food and one clog

Jun 01, 2007 18:36

Left work at 17:50 last night to catch the 18:05 train which was packed to bursting with soldiers and people who were heading for the fair as well. Met Mel and Helena outside the station and we went on to the mission of getting to the fair without being drowned in people.

We got to the fair at about 18:30, which was good since the place wasn't completely packed yet and we managed to get some good food without waiting too much in line and without losing each other. Saw Netalie at one point and hung around with her for a while until we split up again. I had a nice onion fries in an Indian booth, and afterwords we got shrimps (Helena and myself) and also Bellini with caviar and sour cream (that was really good). After eating all that (Mel got some sweet-potatoes pastries) and drinking some champagne and margarita I was light hearted and light headed, which exploded as we moved towards a booth that read "P-something", which sold some sort of card-board cone for women to be able to pee like men... I said it looks like a card-board penis and almost fell to the ground from the intensity of my laughing...

Mel wanted to donate blood so she headed to the blood-donating vehicles but was told she couldn't donate just yet, her last donation being less than three months ago. We lay on the grass digesting when we spotted a a girl dressed like a banana which made us laugh (she had a tool, like, duh?!) and she hopped like a girl, so it was funny. Later one of the creepier janitors of the place wanted to stick his pole in Helena's stomach, which was not funny at all - it had a very long needle in the end...

We left the fair at about 20:30, and it took us some 35-40 minutes to drag ourselves to the bus station (we had dutch pancakes before we left, and man were they too damn much). The bus thing was very funny - we got to the intersection and the lights immediately turned green, not to mention the bus arriving for me and Mel at the second we got to the station... Helena waited after us for about 20 minutes I think...

Mel and I watched three episodes of House on the T.V. (after I got the hang of transferring them to the big T.V. in the living room) and went to sleep. Of course, we haven't stopped talking, and when we got to talking about Animaniacs we went to the computer to look for the scene of "Who's on stage" which we found and laughed at. Didn't fall asleep until 1:30 I think.

Woke up at 7:30 this morning to go to a cooking class with my mom and sister. We drove Mel to Azrieli for her to catch the train and went north to a place called Havatzelet Hasharon, where we made wonderful pastries from yeast dough and took some home. the class was a lot of fun, and the stuff we made were very tasty... We only got back home at about 15:00, and we weren't hungry at all.

My brother is home from the army so my mom is very happy.

I spent the last few hours watching Medium and Young Americans on my computer. I finished the last episode some time ago so I went to sit at the living room, when my mom decided we need to organize the room which looks like a real mess (it does, but I'm lazy), and when I didn't respond (and put a pillow in front of my face for her to not see me...

She threw a clog at me. Hard.

It hit me smack in the forehead, and man was that funny (it did hurt, though), but I think she's a little mad at herself, so I got a free "get out of jail" card after that, and no cleaning for me... Tee-hee.
