endless summer.

tonight i sat on the front steps and watched the sunset.
it had been raining, and i could still hear the thunder.
everything just melted away, until it was just me.
the air around me grew still, and i felt
like i could be anything i dream of. like i could
do anything i want to; i was infinate.
you could call it a revelation, but
more than anything, it was just 
a summer night.
