Crazy
Things have been very crazy. Me and Ave and two Ad Efxers went to Burlington, Vermont, last week on a business trip. It was intense. Made good money, but worked like a mother. I really liked Vermont though, people were really friendly and Burlington was one of those classic American towns (all brick, lots of churches, sheriff, etc.) Its also the founding town of Ben and Jerry's ice cream, which means I tried many a flavour. I bought a really nice painting there, that was most likely the best part of the trip. Came back to Montreal on Thursday night. Picked up Leah friday morning. We went to the Biodome and the Art Museum and the spa. Saw my first real Monet. Very exciting. Saturday, we went to Botanical Gardens and the Hard Rock Cafe. Then yesterday we went to La Ronde, Six Flags Amusement park. Very fun, went on a lot of crazy rides. Leah had some classic one liners of the day. Today, I think we're going to relax, maybe catch a movie downtown. Only one week til I'm back in NS. I really wish I could fastforward time so I could just start school, be in NFLD and not have to deal with the next two weeks. Although I am looking forward to seeing my friends, I'm just home sick......without a home.....and I've been running around so much (Halifax, Vermont, etc.) that I haven't been able to chill in almost a month. And packing and moving from Montreal to NS and from NS to NFLD, will for sure suck, as will leaving Ave, Alex, and the boy. Oh well, I plan to chillax with Tess, Steph, Jill, Dina, and the rest of my friends when I get back. I just really need a break from running around, I need to refuel my soul before going to NS and back to school, otherwise I'm going to burnout. And nobody likes a burnout. Peace out guys and dolls.
