i need a nap!
i got no sleep last night. the new cast was too tight around my thumb, and it kept going numb, coupled with that piercing occasional pain in my thigh, kept me awake all night. so this morning, i head up to the ER (the fracture clinic being closed on Saturday), and with only a hour wait they get me in and the doc pulls out what looks to be a tiny circular saw. this blade had to be about 3" in diameter, and had me a bit concerned until i started to think about its possible uses as a sex toy :d that made me fell a whole lot more relaxed... well... in one way, anyway! lol
the doc cut out a bit of the fiberglass at the base of my thumb, the pressure let up, and all is better now.
time for a nap....
