You're going to be a hero soon
So Code Geass finally wrapped up in English this past weekend. Final verdict, amazing ending. Got a little convoluted in the second season but the ending tops all, discussion and the final scenes after the cut
The music in that scene when Suzaku and Lelouch are discussing the plan and the haunting flute when he finally dies....amazing. Such inspirational music. Probably the best voice acting job in a long time for an anime. Even the voice actress for Nunnally who I disliked the entire series did a great job capturing her anguish over her brother dying. The concept of a man becoming the focus of all the world's hatred so that it could be extinguished....completely unrealistic, but it's a world with giant robots, cyborgs and ninja-maids, so I can't complain.
I'm going to catch some nerd backlash but this seals it as my favorite anime period, topped Cowboy Bebop finally, and that was hard to do.
