Skaven Doomwheel

I'll be starting school just over a week from now, so in the meantime I've been working on a number of personal projects. Among them is a new Warhammer Skaven army that my family gave me for Xmas. I've been focusing my painting efforts on the Doomwheel, a large maniacal contraption that rolls recklessly around the battlefield, firing bolts of warp lightning before crashing headlong into enemy lines.

I built the model into several subassemblies, then test fit them together without gluing them in place.

The chassis is nearly finished - mostly needs weathering and highlights. Haven't decided on colors for the banner yet.

Here is a detail shot of the pilot.

Finally, here's what it'll look like with the wheels back on. The wood still needs a lot of shading and the other subassemblies (not shown) are still entirely unpainted.
