HI ALL! The past two weeks have been full of papers and deadlines which have FINALLY been overcome, so I can now post again! I've translated a few more songs in between, but I haven't been able to post them. I'll do that one group a day again for as long as I can keep it up (because I'll probably be busy again in the coming weeks...). In any case, I started this whole translation project with JWest's Shouko, so here are the two other songs they performed to re-kickstart this second half of songs!
Ee Janai Ka is that song we've all heard but I've been hesitant to touch because of th Kansai ben that I'm no so familiar with. I asked my friend who's from Osaka to help out with this though, so hopefully I understood her explanations!! Enjoy!

NOTES:
1. Naniwa-kyo (or just Naniwa) is the historical name of central Osaka and was once Japan's capital. That's also where Naniwa Danshi got their name.
2. Naniwa-bushi (also called roukyoku) is a form of traditional musical narrative in Japan (specifically Osaka) where the performer acts out a story including all the roles in the story while accompanied by a shamisen, which is a traditional Japanese string instrument.
3. Seven samurai is a reference to the film Seven Samurai by Akira Kursosawa, which is one of the most influential films throughout the world. You can read more about it and its legacy
here. It's also where the Johnnys Jr. group, 7 Men Samurai, got their name.
