ROM visit
Gavin, Connor, and I went out to the Royal Ontario Museum today with mightydoll (who was nice enough to guest us on her membership) and her kids. We hit McDonalds first for lunch and then spent several pleasant hours checking out dinosaur bones, mummies, Wedgwood (YAY! a special exhibit of Wedgwood! I collect Wedgwood, so that was exciting), minerals and gems, and lots of other things.
I couldn't help but laugh though when we got home and Frolic asked Gavin what the most exciting part of the day was. "I GOT A TOY!" Gavin said. "AT McDONALDS! AND IT WAS THE BIGGEST McDONALDS IN THE WORLD!"
Yes. He spent four hours looking at all these amazing things and playing in the kid area and yet the most exciting part of his day was going to a big McDonalds. Kids. *shakes head*
