Mostly costuming stuff
A fascinating and entertaining post written by an EMT talking to a class of high schoolers. I highly recommend reading it. :)
In other news, my steampunk goggles should be finished in, oh, ten minutes or so! And I'm about as done with my steampunk gun as it's possible to get with the supplies at hand (which is another way of saying, "If I had metal leaf I could make the gun barrel look a lot better, but I've reached the limit of what I can do with acrylic paint and dust pigment, so this is as good as it's getting," and then picture me sighing).
I've been dragging my feet on the waist cincher because I don't feel like cutting out and sewing all the pieces. So I think tonight I'll be making my cap, and I will then post photos of me wearing the steampunk goggles and cap. =^.^=
