once i had a random russian add me on here. turns out she was in town studying English for a few months. she was living and working in a hotel that happened to be a few minutes from my house. we talked online for a bit and being the thrillseeker i am, i asked her if she wanted to come to a death metal show with a few friends and i.

livejournal: providing insanely hot blonde russian women to go to death metal shows with you since July 2008.

she's back in Siberia now :(

LOL, that's awesome. :) I've met so many cool people from running into them online first. (And a small handful of asshats, but by far the majority have been really cool.)

I just has a Russian leave me a comment (In broken English at that!), but he didn't friend me and I didn't friend him. I'm sort of suspicious now, because though I have no idea if his journal is real or not (Learning one foreign language at a time, thanks) but he's a member of an obscene amount of communities, which makes me think it's shady.

It probably is shady. And according to the entries written by nympholept (linked above), some of them do leave comments and stuff now (it's suspected that there's probably some people controlling the bot accounts).
