I just got to see my friend Ryan tonight! This is awesome because Ryan and I were really close friends from sixth grade all the way through high school (even though we ended up going to different high schools, since he was an artist and went to art school), and we haven't seen each other in TEN WHOLE YEARS. His band is on tour right now and they were playing a show in Toronto tonight, so we got to see each other after his show.
It was lovely to see him and catch up. I was his first girlfriend, way back in sixth grade (he realized soon after that he was totally gay and told me once "I dated you because you were so flat-chested you reminded me of a boy" - I reminded him of that tonight and he laughed his ass off). He lives in NYC but hopefully he'll get another chance to come back up to TO later this year and we can hang out more. :)
