What I noticed is how you never saw Fury's tummy. They hid it like he was a pregnant woman.

Ha! One must dilute the intensely concentrated awesome that is Samuel L. Jackson, lest he overwhelm the film...?

I'd really like to see more characters that just plain looked like real people--bad teeth, skin, etc. Everyone is just so idealized, regardless of color.

I know, right? I get so that I can't really enjoy Hollywood films unless I'm really in a place to suspend my disbelief. I'm also having a hard time keeping track of who is who among the young stars and starlets these days. They all look the same to me and I can't tell them apart from pictures. They're so aggressively "styled" the same, then photoshopped far enough that they fall into the uncanny valley. *shudder*

I read Tom and Lorenzo (formerly Project Rungay), and I'd say about 75% of the time (at least), that I have absolutely no idea of who it is that I'm looking at on a red carpet--they're just and endless parade of identical pretty people.
