Late to the party as always, but having seen nhw talking about LibraryThing and also coalescent (though with a paltry two entries), I decided to sign up and start adding stuff.

Two hours and 475 books later (added without tags), it slowly dawned on me that you can't bulk edit catalogue entries. Arse.

I'm still claiming the tour, and the subsequently needed recovery week as an excuse for being late (again). I could have read The Algebraist whilst on tour but I had a good (well, it is good for me anyway) reason for not taking my copy with me. Ahem. Suffice to say it involves my obsessive-compulsive behaviour towards books. :P

But! I only have about 90 pages to go,so discussion should be starting tonight or tommorow. Sorry for the delay!

I have an account, under the usual name. Actually doing something about it is at the end of a very long list of things to do and entails having free time and an internet connection at the same time.

I was very very vaguely working on cataloguing my stuff using this:http://alexandria.rubyforge.org/ : it seems very slightly more plausible I might get somewhere with that. Hopefully the two can then talk to each other, though I've made no investigation of this whatsoever.
