(no subject)
Wow, figured I'd actually post here after a year and a half. I talk so much about random crap to friends, I figured it would be better to say it once on here than a million times. Lets run down some important events.
For my final year at school:
Drank a lot - Normal for your average college student! Went to only two parties second semester though, as I was either too fucking tired, busy writing papers for business english or staring at VisualStudio.net cursing the day Microsoft was founded. Luckily me and Keith got together with Keri on a regular basis and got drunk, well, he was buying, so why not? Shame my college life ends as I finally start to become more sociable. Hit on a hot girl in glasses the last party of the year, nothing came of it alas.
Almost had sex - See Keri, above. >>
Got an A in Constitutional Law somehow, oh wait, he curves. Nevermind.
Got a Wallstreet Powerbook for $250. Ran Linux like a dream, but OS X is rather sluggish. Needs more RAM. OS X eats RAM like Gluttony eats... well, everything.
Almost had sex again, Keith hooked me up with a friend of his, busty and wore glasses. but something important came up at the last minute and she couldn't make it. Notice a pattern? Hopefully I'll be able to use these condoms before they expire in 2007.
Went to Physics 6 days the whole semester and got a B.
Cussed out Microsoft Access as it acted stupid while I was working on my final project. If I use a reserved word for a field name, FUCKING TELL ME! I could've finished the whole thing in like two fucking days if I hadn't spent a month debugging.
Oh, and graduated with an associates in computer science. I was the last person out of the whole school to get my diploma, being my last name ends in W and everyone that would've been after me didn't show up. By diploma I mean a piece of paper that says "Your diploma will be sent upon verification of completion of graduation requirements." Actually, they still haven't sent it to me in the mail. Jessica Lynch spoke at graduation, she basically said the same damn thing every guest speaker says. She's cute though.
Now for summer:
Went back to work at Gomart two days after graduation. No rest for the weary. This week should suck, as Sunday is July 4th so it should be non-stop beer selling til then. Luckily I work midnights tonight and tomorrow, so at least I'll be able to rest more before going back on day shift on a holiday weekend. Not a good thing after working midnights two weeks straight.
The l33t Athlon 64 machine I put together in December died, motherboard got fried somehow. I'm stuck on my desktop until I get it replaced, so no anime for me. ;.;
Also, working on plans for Otakon. I WILL go this year. I get paid three times in July, should have $1k after all bills are paid, and thats over twice as much as I need. Need to put together a Gendo outfit soon, to impress a certain Gendo fangirl I recently fell in lust with, and is going to be there. Teehee. If I don't post "Almost had sex... again" here in early August, that will be a sign things went well.
Overall, things are doing pretty well for me.
