[And at that, Kazooie points herself skyward, a blazing-red arrow of impulsive moon destruction. This can't backfire in any conceivable way, can it?]

Right!

[And Dash takes off like a rocket, ready to knock that thing far away!

...this totally can't end well.]

[In unison, the duo of super-speedy bird and pegasus hurtle towards the upper boundary of the barrier. The moon hasn't begun to push through yet, no, but it is ominously close - close enough that Kazooie at least wants to get up to the dumb thing and glare at it.]

It won't stand a chance!

[Same with Dash, really. She knows she can't bust the barrier, but she can at least give it her all! For JUSTICE!]

[Eventually, through a combination of Bunny Hood-induced speed, riding Rainbow Dash's wake, and her own sheer diligence, Kazooie has managed to Glide somewhere much closer to the moon. She can feel the press of the barrier, the way the air just sort of seems to stop, and it's annoying that it's between her and that dumb moon's face.

Still, she raspberries loudly at the moon, making a face in its direction.]

Who're you trying to fool, you dumb thing? You couldn't scare anybody if you tried!

[wannabolt]

[Dash will do pretty much the same thing, stretching her face with her hooves before tapping on the barrier.]

Yeah! Just try and come closer. I dare you!

[talontrot]

[Annoyingly, the barrier doesn't give way even when Kazooie spits a Grenade Egg in its direction. It just explodes harmlessly against the surface, not even causing a ripple.

How annoying.]

Argh, even with that ugly moon right there, there's no way we can hit it because of that dumb barrier thing!

[wannabolt]

Stupid barrier. I swear, someday we'll find a way to bust straight through it!

[But for now she huffs and looks away from the ugly ol' moon.]

[When that day comes, Kazooie will be first on it, but at the moment there's little else they can do.]

Ugh. Maybe we can come back later when it punches through and hit it again! That'd be cool!

[Hah, good point! Dash nods, giving the moon one last look.]

Yeah, then we'd totally send it flying!

[For now though, they can't do anything but head back...]

I think we'd make the greatest moon-punching team in history. [Kazooie grins over at Rainbow Dash then, her eyes bright.] We could kick its butt like nobody's business!

[wannabolt]

Bet we could kick anybody's butt, any time. Anywhere.

[...yeah, now she's getting a wee bit over the top.]

We totally could, 'cause we're awesome and heroes! And super fast and super strong! [Kazooie has already vaulted over that top and jumped clear over into the other side.]

Luceti's got nothing on us.

[Oh, these two... one of these days their mutual overconfidence is going to screw them both over. Until now, Kazooie grins in blissful obliviousness.]

Because we're just so great like that! Luceti's lucky we're even here making it cool!
