One week and one year older.
Well one week later, Results of the lions feast day., Since its a journal might as well go through my feelings.
The good, More people than i expected were there to wish me well, some real surprises that warmed my heart. Amazingly enough a few i had been told wouldn't be on.. lucky lion there. So probably in the most important category, i know there are plenty of people who do care about me, and not just for my art/ideas
Giftart wise? it was pretty disappointing, one nice surprise, one expected.. and a few significant disappointments. Same goes for stories, but honestly i don't expect those even when promised... just.. well.. I know how it is being an author. I know i shouldn't expect much, but I'm not perfect i've gotten greedy before.) Check that, there were a few people who were kind enough to offer one expost, the day caught up on them, so big thanks out there to those.. even if i haven't gotten my request into one yet(JackleAmbrose, paws up for that gallows pic).
The sad. A handful of people i had been really hopeful to make contact and get well wished didn't come through. Anyday close counts on these, but when there is no effort.. well, that rails me. there are those i "KNOW" care and are just forgetful, and then the ones i worry about. Its the ones i worry about that i think about here
Overall, It was a good day, but hopes for the follow through in many cases didn't pan out. Thanks to all those who wished me well here, probably ending up preaching to the converted already.
