Taking IMDB with a pinch of salt...
Gawd. Critics! Don't you just hate the pestilent scum? Sadly....they are necessary in the capitalist society that we live in. Should I see this movie? Should I buy this CD? Am I with the trend?
You may wonder why I'm launching into this crap. Well, I was just researching "House of 1000 Corpses" on IMDB and well, the people that have commented are, to be polite, Horror Virgins. Certainly they need to be watching some '70s horror. Plus they're taking the film at face value, not understanding the philosophy at heart. Shame on them. They're the sort that would think that "The Ring" is amazing whilst being oblivious to it's origins. Hell, I hate critics. My hatred goes back to heavy critcism of Queen Adreena's album "Taxidermy" (rated 3/10 by Metal Hammer). It made me realise that critics are no more than people paid by the trend to give an opinion that the trend wants to hear. Nothing more. Trouble is, I'm not/never have been with the trend. I spit on the trend. I laugh at it. It's irrelavent. It justifies the destruction of the human race that is virus of this planet. We are individuals, with individual needs. As long as some of us remember that, there is hope for us all....
