Talon on remakes (and advice to all my friends :) )
Hmmmm. Ok, those of you in on this small cinema miracle, close you eyes. yeah, your especially malley and jerusalem66, oh and most likely dengar I wanna go see it!
Yeah, I'm talking about the remake of "The Ring". Saw a trailer in the cinema the other day. It doesn't look too bad. http://ringworld.somrux.com/index.htm also gives it a favourable review.
But don't get me wrong. I still believe people should go and see the genius that is the original "Ring", sadly not released (as yet) in the US. There is a rumour that Dreamworks (the people behind the remake) want to release the original at the same time as their movie. Good for them! That shows true dedication....
But I urge you: See the original movie! Yeah, I know, it involves reading subtitles. If you buy it in the UK you even get the whiny spiel of that whore pig Kemode (in the sleeve not on the video). What a pity ;-)
Still, he likes it, so I guess that's ok, no matter how much id like to lynch the pretentious little git!
