Everything seems to be working out....
Ember started school on Monday.... Auds actually faxed in her birth certificate for me. That was the biggest surprise, I thought I was going to have to fight a bit longer for that. All in all everything went pretty smoothly.
I kinda have to thank my oldest Hailey for that.... If not for her help I'd probably still be looking for the schools.... She's back and I think doing a lot better.... she's mostly claned herself up, still smokes, but is working and holding her job. Doesn't have a car yet, probably wont for a while, so I've been giving her rids to work when she needs it..... Not going to let her loose a job, when she's trying so hard. I'm proud of her.
I almost started to dread comming to work in the morning...... After my screwing up. But I realised it doesn't matter..... After talking to you, there's nothing left.... You're barely someone I used to know. Ignoring you the next time I say you was far easier than I would've thought.....
Besides..... I get distracted right at the beginning.... I think it's the 89? the 98.... The first building I walk past in the fence.... It's like some kind of boiler room. Right inside there is a smallish office space, One of these days I'm goiong to get up the nerve to walk in there and take a look. I was in there a long time ago... When I was a mighty carpet cleaner.... in this room was like a 2' wide 20' long carpet.... this thing was so old and thread bare, I'm not actually sure you could even still call it a carpet.... Though at the time we did.... We went in to clean the poor thing..... Truth be told I think we probably did more harm than good cleaning it......
I just want to go in and see if that poor ratted thing is still there or if it finally gave up the ghost.... But then I remember it fondly..ish. I'd hate to go and find it did die. I'd like to think it's still holding on fighting the good fight.
