Get home from a weekend trip to Radium hot springs.
First off my car breaks. And breaks in such a way in which the suspicion of vandalism isn't entirely unfounded.
My gaming chair broke. It's been a part of my life for the last 8 years. We'll miss you ... chair.
And, just when my shift at work stabilizes so I can have a life again, what do you suppose happens? The old guy at work decides to pack it in and gives 1 week of notice. Not 2 weeks or anything. Nope, 1 week. Even though he's just been on vacation for the last several weeks, and could have told us then. Nope, tells us now. Great.
These things tend to come in threes, and I really hate waiting around for that 3rd thing to break. It's a very uneasy feeling.
Some good news. I'm officially on TV as of monday night. Yeup, my commercial has already gone to air on the Global station. My grandparents saw it, they loved it. I haven't actually seen the clip yet, but I've been getting nothing but positive reviews thus far. I'm sure I'll catch it sometime soon.
Off to work I go.
