Loki is dying.
For anyone who has ever visited our house, you all know who Loki is. He is the tubby cream colored cat with big blue eyes and little stubby tail, who would come say hello. He also washes the window of the front door from time to time.
A while back, he'd been having trouble going potty. It seemed to clear up, or so we thought. To make a long story short, Lisa and I had to stop and seriously consider euthanizing him today. His bladder refuses to drain, his potassium is through the roof (which could kill him). We brought him home today, he's drugged up, and hopefully he'll make it through the night. If he doesn't, at least he'll pass on in his home, in a comfortable bed rather than the kennel at the vet clinic.
Needless to say, I have no idea what I'll be doing for the rest of the weekend.
But he's a strong cat. I call him my little Lion.
