i know, it doesnt make any sense to me. illaw created this stupid poll 'will gay marriage destroy the institution of marriage' 82% of those that answered the poll said no, so obviously the community is overrun by liberals. I dont think too many conservatives waste their time on lj because they know how overrun it is.
thank the 'Democratic' wave and all those wishy-washy bastard independents for that. Well Michigan is a Blue States because of Detroit. Louisiana , although a red state, has many statewide elected Democrats because of New Orleans.
WHat did you say to warrant getting banned from conservatism? I'm not in that community, but isn't it overrun by liberals anyway? I don't know if I could tolerate that headache everyday.
1990's conservatives like Newt Gingrich are now considered, "old school" and "liberal"? YIKES!
I agree with you that I don't like how Republicans have allowed the budget to spiral out of control and I don't like how they've used some of these issues like gay marriage amendments conveniently before elections to make people forget about how they've screwed up. IF anything, I think the Republicans started going downhill when they picked Dennis Hastert as Speaker. Anyone could tell that he was out of the loop, it was other people running the show, and the House was an "anything goes" mess. You had people abusing the earmark system, adding on amendments like teapot museums and bridges to nowhere, and congress members talking dirty to pages. Next time the Republicans take power, they need a leader who will keep everyone in line and if someone is breaking the laws, will do something about them instead of protect them. Look at how Dennis Hastert was even trying to protect William Jefferson, a Democrat, who is under a Federal
