Yes ive been a bit of a hyperpartisan nutjob lately (my apologies) but now I'm truly pissed at my party. Let the Republican bloodletting begin. I can definitely see a GOP leadership shake up. They're seriously paying for the scandals, the Iraq mess, and out of control spending. I think they not only pissed off the regular folks, but they totally ( Read more... )

I'm thinking we're well on our way to a gridlocked and more useless government than we have now

Yep. NOTHING is going to get done in the next 2 years. What a waste of time, energy and money.

Great, very few stupid laws, tax increases, and dopey regulatation will be passed.

Sorry, the GOP fukked up the last couple of years when they contolled Congress and the White House. Moral of the story - Govern like Republicans, and stop trying to be Democrats.

apparently the voters and so many christians (people who call themselves christians but really aren't) are so deluded to think returning the Democrats to power will do anything good for this country. They wont. We will likely be come underseige by terrorists and foreign powers and the Democrats will do nothing to stop it, they will usher it in.

I can't understand why any Christian would vote for someone that supports homosexual marriage, abortion, and embryonic stem cell research, all of which God clearly is against.

Well analysis seems to show that the GOP was able to hold its base in the election. Where it went wrong was it lost the moderates and independents. I truly believe as Rush Limbaugh has said if Republicans would have behaved and governed like Real Conservatives for the past 6 years, they wouldnt have lost like they did on Election Night. Rush Limbaugh says he feels liberated because he no longer has to carry water for the people who didnt want to carry their own. He complained these people who calls themselves did not stand up for themselves and did not state what they really believed. This is why we lost. There was about just as much incoherency from the GOP as there was from Dems. None of them would state what they really believe, except for John Kerry.
