Grad school is fucking hard (duh). But it's been a great experience nonetheless. I love Evanston, and my classmates are pretty cool. The best part is that it's challenging me to challenge myself and improve the way I teach. It's having a quite profound effect on my thought process.
Other perks: free access to a gym, beach, and an astounding library. Also I like having the bragging rights to say "Yeah, I go to Northwestern University for graduate school..." :-)
I miss Sara, Nina, and Joe.
Okay...off to conduct a choir, read three chapters, and compose an outline for the second 10 page paper I've written in the past two weeks.
