I spent the weekend in Gainesville with Liesl. It was such a relief to get out of Orlando. Friday night, we went to a vet school social at some new orleans themed bar and drank ourselves into oblivion (oh the magic wonders of an open bar...). I spent ALL of saturday hung over, but we didn't really do to much so it was okay. Liesl took me to the vet school and showed me a bunch of dead animals in a freezer. Overall, it was incredibly creepy...especially the sliced up horse heads. After that we went to this crazy store downtown called American Apparel. There's this whole wall of sparkly, neon, shiny, spandex, 80's-gone-horribly-wrong, "attire". We came up with the brilliant idea to try a bunch of it on and take pictures in the dressing room. I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time. Maybe I'll post the pictures sometime.
I had almost forgotten what it was like to be around people older than 13. I miss the days of undergrad when I was merely pretending to be a real adult. Actually BEING a real adult blows. To all of my friends who are still in college, enjoy it while it lasts.
Now back to the real world of lesson plans, screaming at evil children, no friends, and general boring-ness.
I just have to stick out two more weeks until spring break, then I'm tally-bound. Havely and I are going to party it up Bullwinkles style. I'll probably see Shelton, which may or may not be a good thing.
