I have to learn Korean and move to Korea and be a minjung theologian. NOT KIDDING.
minjung theology is apparently all about oppression and suffering and it talks about this peculiar thing "han" which is the "accumulated feelings" of the oppressed people, their sorrow and anger, which turns inward, hardens, and sticks to their hearts.
THIS is what needs to be healed. Sin is only half of it.

so then. this theologian John Young-Jung Lee apparently says. Han can be resolved in the process of sharing it. Telling your Han-ridden story into a community strips it of power. And then, "the resolution of han is the very fundamental element of doing ministry; our faith commitment to God’s preferential option for the victims" AND IT ALL MAKES SENSE THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO DO
