surprise surprise
the girls gave me a big surprise on friday night. instead of going out to eat in carlton, they all rocked up at my door with balloons and take away food. it was very sweet and unexpected and i was pretty much speechless for the whole night. and dining at home meant we could be extra loud and silly. we chatted into the night, watched wimbledon the movie on tv and laughed over games of pictionary.
i have been giving my own fair share of surprises to my colleagues by rocking up at work at 8am two days in a row last week instead of my usual after 10am. the look on their faces. one guy said there's a difference being shock and surprise hehe.
k will be back tomorrow. i have taken this tuesday and wednesday off to spend time with him for his birthday on tuesday. apparently it's meant to be all sunshine and 29 degrees.
today i bought bella some presents and gave her a bath. she smells good.
